South Park: Lost Episode?

So, while we’re on the topic, something’s been bugging me. Last year, the episode “A.W.E.S.O.M.E-O.” replaced what I remember to be an extremely controversial one. I think I remember seeing previews for it and being like “WTF!?? LOL” but the episode never aired… does anyone have an explanation for this mystery?

Here’s the killer: When they originally aired the replacement episode, they showed a message: “This night’s episode has been replaced with a new one, entitled ‘A.W.E.S.O.M.E.-O.’….” Someone call Comedy Central and e-mail me. :)
