We had one of those weird rainstorms today…

A couple of times a year we get an odd rainstorm with a bursting downpour in-between or during direct-sun. This often triggers rainbows in the sky, and the odd sight of drenched pavement/trees with the sun reflecting straight back to the sky with storm-clouds in the distance… clear blue skies overhead.

It’s a fantastic sight, especially when the sun is shining as the rain is actually falling.
I’ve attached two pictures from last year when this happened.
